Rain or Shine

One day Sugar and Rusty were at an outdoor performance in August several years ago.  There were no plans for rain that day, but there it was poring all over everything at the event. Rusty’s Devils

Working several night jobs gets very tricky.  Some times Rusty finds himself quickly going from one job to the next in the same night. When it’s time for a quick costume change, Rusty turns to his lovely devils to assist him. Pedestal Dance

Russell Bruner and Sugar Kane demonstrate their dancing skills on a tiny pedestal measuring approximately 4 feet in diameter and a death defying 2 feet off of the ground. Throughout the dance they demonstrate their ability to control their aerial dance lifts and execute fancy footwork all whilst maintaining balance on the pedestal. (more…)

Shanghai Pearl Mermaid

Russell Bruner was fortunate enough to find Shanghai Pearl washed up on land and incapable of walking around. After some brief discussion, Russell had the opportunity to parade this beauty in a burlesque act performed at the Bossanova Ballroom. (more…)

Gotta Dance!

Echoing Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse, Russell Bruner and Tana the Tattooed Lady worked together to recreate the Broadway Melody scene from the classic movie: Singin’ in the Rain. Most of the number has the exact choreography as the number found in the movie. (more…)

Base Balls

Here is an act that combines baseball, comedy and acrobatics. Scott Maxwell and Russell Bruner go head to head and head to foot in this crazy act. These two also played the role of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in the Wanderlust Circus Production of Alice in Wonderland doing this very act. (more…)

Scarlett & Russell

Scarlett and Russell first got together to perform the tale of how a bee makes honey at the Bite of Oregon. These two have also performed with the March Fourth Marching Band at the Crystal Ballroom for the Birthday Celebration. Their act combines floor acrobatics with stilt work.

Tandem Surf Act

This act was put together for a special burlesque performance at Tiki Oasis ’09. In this act the beautiful Meghan Mayhem loses the moo-moo and catches the eyes of Surfer Russ. Little Bo Peep
