E Bruno Knickerbocker is a character picked up by the Wanderlust Circus in a saloon on the endless road they travel. Bruno joined the circus to pursue his love for an aerialist in the circus. His plans are to win the girl, leave the circus and live happily ever after. Though his plans seem simple, Bruno will discover all the complications and obstacles that stand in his way as he pursues his love. Bruno is a gambling man who is very familiar with the powers of song, dance and a little romance. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants. (more…)

Paulina in Cirque L’amour

In the Wanderlust Circus production of Cirque L’amour Paulina and Russell perform solo acts as well as partner dance numbers as they help tell the love story loosely adapted from Charlie Chaplin’s silent screen classic The Circus, with physical comedian Tommy Twimble portraying the hapless Tramp as he stumbles in and out of love and stardom. Two the Death

In this tale we discover the outcome of what happens when one monster mistakenly begets another. This is an act of revenge and love that is mainly showcased every other week at Dante’s Sinferno in downtown Portland. This act has also been featured in Uncle Ererie’s Shiver Show, The Sideshow Speakeasy of the Wanderlust Circus, Rose City Vaudeville’s series of the Alchemist, the Attack of Jack at various Stars Cabaret locations, and more. Belle Peppers in White Album Christmas

The Belle Peppers are life size wind-up dolls acquired by William Batty to help with tasks in the Wanderlust Circus production entitled White Album Christmas. During the production Bruno Knickerbocker is entrusted to watch over the Belle Peppers. Bruno then uses them to entrap William Batty, get dressed up in a Ring Master outfit, and take over the Wanderlust Circus. Bruno fails in his attempt, but manages to put all the blame on the Belle Peppers and remains William Batty’s good trusted friend. (more…)

Long Legged Liz

Liz and Russell met at a Vintage Carnival event and later collaborated to put together a long leg fetish act for the Wanderlust Circus series of Sideshow Speakeasy at Dante’s Inferno. Liz has studied with the stilters of Slippery Theater as well as collaborations with the Tall Boys for the Wanderlust Circus production of Alice and Wonderland. Since then Liz has vanished to finish school where she is studying to become a nurse.

Mighty Mighty Acrobats

Mighty Mighty AcrobatsThis act, also known as the “3-person swing act,” is a performance number that combines swing dance and acrobatics. Daniel, Karynn and Russ combine their talents to teach the world that it’s sometimes more fun to share than it is to fight.

Rusty Sugar

Russ and Susan are a dancing duo that idolizes Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The two have studied the classic partner styles of the Art Deco Era and have enjoyed performing together near and far. They especially enjoy performing with their favorite swing band, the Stolen Sweets.

During their partnership, these two have also enjoyed sharing their love of dance with others by social dancing with everyone and teaching dance classes. (more…)

Hop ScotchDaniel and Karynn like to kick up their heels to music from the 20′s through the 50′s and today — Charleston, Swing, Rhythm and Blues and good old fashioned Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Not afraid to catch a little air, they enjoy adding their high flying aerials to their performances and have traveled all over the globe to dance and perform.
