Gypsy Movie

Rose Louise Hovick from Seattle, Washington
never set out to be an international phenomena.
In fact, she was never really suited for the stage at all.
When a twist of fate and the fear of empty plates zipped
her in to an evening gown- a legend in elbow length gloves was born.
Saturday July 25th @ The Bagdad Theater we celebrate the liveliest arts of vaudeville,
cabaret and burlesque with a special screening of the musical “GYPSY” (1962).
This American classic stars the luminous Natalie Wood as the legendary Queen of Burlesque-Miss Gypsy Rose Lee and Rosalind Russell in a powerhouse performance
as the ultimate stage mother,”Mama Rose”.
As with all of Fleur de Lethal’s hoopla the movie is only HALF the experience!
This time, Miss Nico Bella has assembled a live vaudeville show before each screening!
The family friendly matinee will feature vaudeville performances to delight kids of ALL ages!
For the late night show we turn up the Ooh-La-La and rev the Hot-Cha-Cha with appearances by
international burlesque stars Megan Mayhem, Tana The Tattooed Lady
and Mlle.Sadie LaGuerre.
Dazzling performances by these strip-tease sensations will be peppered
with vaudeville and variety by Rusty Sugar and other very special guests.
As if that wasn’t enough- it will all be hosted by World Famous Ringmaster of
The Wanderlust Circus,Mr. William Batty.
