Nice job kids....I ran across your video a while back and thought it was coming from New Orleans. Our band leader, Dave Sturmer, is from Portland, and I will forward this link to him. I can see you got a crowd gathering around. We had a similar experience at the Rochester International Jazz Festival. We were set up on a sidewalk and when we played, a large crowd gathered around and started dancing in the streets. Well, it was the first night of the festival and they hadn't arranged for closing the street, but the police had to come in at the last minute and block it off. The festival people had to pay the police another $250 for that and so in subsequent years they have plunked us on a riverboat cruise which is self-limiting as far as dancing.
