Yes, this whole week Swing Time is collaborating with Portland Lindy Society. On Monday we’re doing a fund raiser at the Crystal Ballroom to raise more funds for the Portland Lindy Exchange. (Register at http://portlandlx.com )

On Valentine’s Day this Thursday, we’ve just put together a show that will run similar to the nights of the exchange. At the Lindy Exchange we’re going to be swapping out bands to bring multiple bands each night. Berbati’s Pan has a great set up for live music and we’re going to take full advantage of it to bring you 3 of Portland’s best swing bands.

This Thursday will be a great night for anyone that missed out on the Holiday Ball with Swing Papillon and the Mad Hatton Swing Ensemble or the show at the PPAA with the Midnight Serenaders. On Valentine’s Day you’ll get a chance to hear all those bands in one night AND support a good cause.

We hope to raise an awareness about the Portland Lindy Exchange and the great live music community we have here in Portland. Please help us out by telling your friends about these events and help get them signed up for the Portland Lindy Exchange this year. As we get closer we get more and more registrants each day and we’re already projecting to have an amazing turnout.
